The McDonald's American Samoa journey began in 1999 with the acquisition and development of the business. McDonald's Tafuna officially opened its doors in 2000, beginning a journey that would become part of the lives of generations of local families.
Tafuna represents the beginning of our local McDonald's story — a place built around people, opportunity, service and community.
From first jobs and lifelong friendships to family meals, celebrations and community partnerships, the restaurant has grown alongside the community it proudly serves.
